KOREAN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

We will have three Master Instructors from Korea with us from September 1st through November 19th – this is a continuation of the intern program that brought Master Kim and Master Jeong to us last fall.  Please help us in welcoming these Master Instructors as you see them in class.

We are currently looking for a volunteer to transport Master Kim from Monument to Citadel every Friday afternoon anytime between 2-3.

We are also looking for volunteers to either bring lunch around 12:45p.m. to the Monument Dojang, or practice English with our visiting Master Instructors from 11:30a.m. – 12:30p.m. at the Monument Dojang.  You can sign up at the front desk.

BREAK-A-THON

BREAK-A-THON

This year our Break-A-Thon will be Saturday, September 17th at Mr. Biggs from 9:30a.m. – 12:30p.m.

For those students who are new to our Dojangs:  Every year we hold a “Break-A-Thon” and receive pledges for breaking boards.  This is our way of giving back to the community, and there is a different charitable organization we support each year.

This year we are supporting the Woo Song Foundation.  This is a foundation created in Dae Sabumnim’s honor to provide Taekwondo scholarships to under-priviledged families, so their children can receive the same benefits from Taekwondo that we do.

Right now this 501c(3) non-profit is serving all the Taekwondo schools in the Colorado Springs and Denver area.  Very soon, they will be serving schools nationally!  We are very excited to be raising funds for this cause!

Sponsorship packets will be finished soon – watch for the announcements!

Not that anyone needs any extra incentive – but our visiting Korean Master Instructors will be performing a demonstration on that morning as well!
